Theme 2010-11 Building Communities Bridging ContinentsThe suburb of Nundah was originally settled in 1838, and has had a long tradition of abundance. And the Rotary Club of Nundah was formed in 1953, so local business people could share the bounty of our locality with those less fortunate. That tradition continues today in a friendly, go-ahead club. We welcome all people to come and find out what Rotary means today in Nundah, and how You can help.

Rotary Club of Nundah is a vibrant, friendly organisation wher people make a real difference in Local, National and International spectres. And we have fun doing it.

We raise money to help eradicate Polio in the world. Friends and family in Australia have been affected by this deadly disease, and Nundah Rotarians support the eradication program as it draws to a close.

We have a passion for helping young scientists; we love sending children to the National Youth Science forum (a 10 day science experience for Year 11 students) and revel in the youn adults who return. We support Rotary Youth Exchange, with students inbound and outbound on life changing experiences.

We send money to Australian disasters, to Japan and to Christchurch in their time of need. We support Shelterbox, helping other disaster victims more immediately and less directly.

We run the Computers4kids Program for our District, reprocessing and distributing computers throughout Queensland, and our neighbours in PNG, Solomon Islands and Nauru.

We recently embarked on developing a 5 year plan, called VISIONING within our club and our district. Maybe you can find something of interest in it for you??

A lot of people ask What is Rotary, and What can it do for me. In under developed countries, ROTARY is a name well known and respected. Maybe this video can help us explain our mission.
